The Center for Case Management (CCM) is a totally independent, clinician-owned company. CCM has no parent corporation or subsidiaries. CCM is a Sub-S corporation, incorporated in 1991 in Massachusetts. There have never been mergers or consolidations in its history.
CCM’s predecessor was The Center for Nursing Case Management, begun in 1986 as a for-profit company within New England Medical Center Hospitals, Boston. In 1989, CNCM left NEMCH under one owner until 1991 when Kathleen Bower and Karen Zander became co-owners and changed the name to CCM. As Principals, they built on a long tradition of personally managing environments that define and foster professional accountability for results. Upon Kathleen Bower’s retirement to Principal Emeritus status in 2013, Karen Zander became the sole owner and President of CCM. Bonnie Geld, MSW, became Vice-President in January, 2014.
